Anabelle (or Abba as she is known) is our newest and youngest member of the board. She has been involved with masizame from a young age, spending time at the CYCC with her family playing board games, organising Easter egg hunts and learning dances from the children at Masizame, despite a lack of talent in this area! She took on an official role at Masizame in January 2023 as ‘fundraiser’, tasked with helping Brenda Wall to increase Masizame’s media presence and online image. Following a 6 month stint in this role during her gap year she was asked to take on a more permanent position on the Board of Directors. Thus, bringing a younger point of view to the table.

 Abba is currently studying Anthropology and Sociology (BAHons) at the University of Durham in the UK. Outside of her role at Masizame, she is a keen horse rider, and loves to play polo with her brother and sisters at their family club based in Plettenberg Bay called Rhone Hill Polo Club.  She is also an avid reader, photographer and nature lover, who loves nothing more than to take her rescue dog, Willow, to the beach for a walk and swim!
